To make my life as complete as I can, by traveling, meeting new people, making friends, and learning.

ABOUT ME

Hm. My best friends would probably say something about how responsible I am. I'm also fun, and a little wacky. I'm unconventional a lot of the time. I tend to see the best in people. I'm quite introverted, and much better at in-depth, meaningful conversation than I am at small talk, and that sometimes makes me seem unfriendly. I'm not, I just don't know what to say... especially in a group.

Interests

I love to travel, I love good food and wine, and local, craft-brewed beer. I want to make the world a better place, so I volunteer with my church (I'm a Quaker) and my professional association, as well as with some community groups and some social action groups. I'm learning to sail. I've got two grown kids whose company I enjoy. I love music too, everything from a local jam to singing by the campfire to attending major concerts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm awestruck every time I see the sun on the mountains around my home. Being on a sailboat surrounded by a pod of orcas who wanted to play was an incredible experience. Hearing Dave Brubeck perform moved me deeply.
