ABOUT ME

I'm a fun loving 21 year old Melbournian, newly graduated from my university degree in Environmental Science.
I will be travelling and living in the USA with my boyfriend in October 2013, and we are looking for peeps to stay with!
I love to be around people (and hate to be alone).
I wish to follow my career in environments and one day make a difference to our planet, but for now I'm still taking in new experiences and always open to new opportunities.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is that a smile costs you absolutely nothing, so give them out freely.

I have not couch surfed before, but I am keen to when I am travelling! I would also love to host people one day when I return :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Not a huge movie buff, but I do enjoy the occasional thriller or horror. Can't stand rom coms!
My taste in music is seriously varied; I love heaps of genres from rock, electro, aussie hip hop (a genre I believe everyone should look into!) to indie pop and alternative. The Beatles are the greatest band of all time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered with turtle breeding just over a year ago in the North East coast of Australia. It was hot, sweaty and tiring but such an amazing experience.

I have a small but decent amount of knowledge about music, especially singing.
I know a lot about turtles!
I am always interested in sharing knowledge and opinions on sustainability, environmental science, policies and global warming.
