About Me

CURRENT MISSION

figuring out how i truly wish my life to be, and doing it

ABOUT ME

Helloo! I study Politics at Edinburgh University, but for the next year I'll be in Delhi, studying Political Science at Delhi University as part of my degree. In the short time I've been here it's been an incredible experience, and any doubts or nerves I had have quickly disappeared! Looking forward to exploring more of India, hopefully the north.

PHILOSOPHY

be kind to each other, smile plenty, take it easy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a few different groups of surfers in Edinburgh, but did this through my flatmates CS account, and they were all brilliant experiences. After hitch-hiking to Morocco a couple of years back I was just amazed at people's kindness and generosity, and wanted to find a way to somehow repay and continue their goodwill.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a few groups of people in Edinburgh last year, when I had a couch to my name!

Interests

norse mythology, i used to play the clarinet but haven't in a little while.. politics, of course! film photography, digital photography, learning hindi!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

ahh, too many to mention.. generally i love films a lot, especially world cinema and independent films. music - of the more folk-y / indie variety, but i enjoy listening to anything (anyone too!). and books, just about anything again! very much enjoying 'a fine balance' by rohinton mistry at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pretty much every day spent in India, but especially the Golden Temple in Amritsar, and back at home, taking part in a large protest in London, as well as the sunny lazy afternoons spent floating about a nearby lake in my dingy.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Morocco

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, United Kingdom
