About Me

CURRENT MISSION

exploring, listening, adventuring, living...

ABOUT ME

Hello! I live in New York City and work in the field of international development. I have studied/worked in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. I haven't been to my hometown much in the last year, but when I am home, I call that town Encinitas, in southern California. I love to travel, experience new cultures, and meet people from all around the world!

Unfortunately, I can't host anyone right now, but I hope to pay it forward someday and host in the future.

Fun facts about me: I am a vegetarian, I am a bad juggler, I have a rat phobia (and have been bitten by one!), I've never broken a bone- let's hope to keep it that way!, I've gotten malaria, I practice yoga, I read a lot of news, and I hope to one day overcome my irrational fear of sea animals and learn to scuba dive!

PHILOSOPHY

“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.”
― Thích Nhất Hạnh, Peace Is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life
