ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, adventurous young spirit. I'm always looking for new things to do and I love meeting new people. Traveling is a passion of mine. I love my family and friends like crazy. I'm known for being the "crazy friend" to most. I'm a goof most of the time, but am very aware of when to focus. Faith is a huge part of my life, and I love getting to know people though conversation about their own views of faith. I'm a very open-minded person. I just graduated college. I studied theatre and arts administraion. I play guitar and sing at a restaurant downtown. I love to perform.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm fairly new to CS, but I have met up with some people and I have hosted someone before.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a girl from Germany. We met on CS and she came downtown to see me sing. Afterward we talked then hung out a couple days later. I also met someone from Amsterdam. We went to the drive-in movie theatre because he had never been to one before and I grew up going there. It was so fun to share experiences.
It's so easy to meet people and make new friends. CS is great!

兴趣

Music, theatre, white water rafting, fishing, painting, singing, film, performing, faith, friends, family. My life is constantly full of many things that I love. I am an assistant administrator for an arts organization that provides musical training to low-income children. I love my job because I see the joy that the kids get when they realize how talented they are.
I love to play guitar and sing. I write some of my own music. My first original piece was about my baby niece.
I love to learn new things.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was horseback riding with my Ma during one of the holiday breaks. I had been wanting to ride for a while and hadn't for quite a few years after I got so busy at college. All I wanted to do was gallop and feel the speed. Well, I got a little more than I bargained for. Apparently my horse had wanted to run just as badly as I did. As soon as he saw a break in the treeline, he sprinted off through the woods into an open field with me on top of him. He bolted for the open field toward the highway. I realized he was going way too fast and tried to pull on the reins, but he was numb to commands. I ended up having to take him in huge circles around the open corn-field just to lessen his momentum. Finally I realized he was not going to listen to me. As soon as I felt he reached a "safe" speed, I jumped off. In the process, I rolled into a tree and scratched up my face pretty good. I'll never forget the rush. Scary yes - but amazing all the same to feel the strength of such a beautiful animal.
