21 year-old exchange Economics student at the University of Leuven in Leuven, Belgium. During the time I have off from school I'm planning to take advantage of the amazing proximity the European continents offers and visit as many countries as I can. Not only visit but also learn from the locals about their culture and everyday life that we often as tourists don't see.

I was born in Ecuador but been living in the United States (Miami, FL) for 12 years. Hablo Español and English very fluently.

Back home I live with my parents and sisters. I'm the oldest of 4 sisters. As the oldest my parents are very protective of me therefore this experience of moving to a completely new country was very difficult for them. But it was my opportunity to leave the nest, grow, and become a citizen of the world.

I hope to create wonderful friendships and memories during my time abroad to take back home and share with all my family and friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Want to experience the city from a local perspective, go to the markets where locals shop, eat the local food, and just learn more about the city from someone who lives there rather than from a guide person.

Interests

I'm a huge sports person (weird for a girl I know ) Soccer (Barça, Juve, Borussia, Manchester United, PSG, Barcelona SC, Boca), Basketball (LA Lakers). My favorite tennis players are Djokovic, Federer, Raonic, Serena Williams, Caroline Wozniacki and Maria Sharapova. If you're into UFC I'm a huge Ronda Rousey fan.

I'm also very interested in Politics. Back home I was working for a presidential campaign and have appeared on several tv shows and newspapers to speak about my positions and why I support certain candidate.

Very interested in the stock market, investing, and the different economic systems of the world.

Big fan of technology. You could ask me about any app and the latest tech. Have had all the iPhones. Big apple fan.

My favorite dog is the German shepherd but don't have any dogs just 2 cats back home in the US.
