21 years old, from Ohio, and currently attending Ohio University for Integrated Science and Education with a minor in Paleontology. Right now my traveling is limited to the summers and winter/spring break so I like to live them up as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Yeah courchsurfing is cheap, but even more important is that it is a great way to make new friends. I love to hear about other peoples' travel stories and to share my own. Once I grow old, I'd love to look back on all the people from all over the globe that helped shape my life story.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste is older than most, generally I listen to music pre 70s. I find enjoyment in all music though, I'm the type of guy who can workout to Mozart.
Same goes for movies. I'm not a huge fan of horror movies, but at certain times I don't mind watching them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Threw a bed, cooler, and propane stove in the back of truck with a cab and just hit the road for a week. It was during the week of the last solar eclipse and was one of the best weeks of my life. Met some great people, hiked a mountain, bathed in a waterfall, stayed on the beach, etc. All around just an amazing time and would love to do it again here soon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have much to teach, for I am a jack of all trades and a master of few. I am however on the exec board of the OU swing dance club so I could teach you how to swing if you're interested. If you're in the area where I am from, I could also take you kayaking/canoeing because I have tons of boats.
I would love to learn to surf, sail, and rock climb. I wouldn't mind learning to play an instrument or speak another language either.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't mind cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, painting, construction, or even yard work. I feel better about my stay if I feel as if worked for it in some way. Lets share good stories and laughs over a cold beer or hot coffee.
