About Me

I am a father of 3 boys. 2 are in highschool and one is headed off to college. I'm a high school science teacher and I teach AP Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Advanced Biomedical Science. I am a cross country mountain bike coach and I love to be active. I'm currently part of the 6 pack of peaks in southern California group. I like to fill our calendar with adventures to look forward to. My family is pretty adventurous. We like to surf, play in the ocean and in the mountains. I like to mess around in the garage and work on bikes and different projects. We have 2 kittens and an outdoor cat. We have a chihuahua named Ziggy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world. We like pack cycling and want to bike pack all around southern California couch surfing as we go. We like to have guests and entertain with wine, beer and good food. A big bonus is that my wife is an incredible cook. We have a small house, but live in a cool, old part of Murrieta known as Historic Downtown. There are food places and drinking establishments within walking distance of our home. We are off one of the main cycling corridors of Washington Avenue.
