Hey world! I'm an outgoing creative type (I like to think) from New Zealand who loves meeting new people. I'm a musician, having studied contemporary music in London and spent the majority of my working life playing and teaching music in various ways. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to technology, and enjoy cycling and outdoors activities too. I have I guess a kinda sarcastic sense of humour (not the insulting kind) which I think is pretty representative of a lot of Kiwis and Brits. Anyway I'm a bit of an extravert I suppose so I thought it'd be cool to meet some nice people on my travels.

My travel experience to date has been pretty much defined by who I meet - travel is so much better when there are cool people to share it with. I'm hoping to do some cycling around Korea, and if I go solo I'd love to avoid staying in expensive and boring motels. Also I love the pay-it-forward concept. Meet some great people, enjoy some much appreciated hospitality and local knowledge and pay it forward by hosting others.

I've watched an embarrassingly small amount of films, but off the top of my head, ones I've enjoyed/watched recently/have made an impression on me: the matrix, anchorman, up (OK, anything Pixar), Interstellar, the lego movie, fight club, the dark knight, I love you man, Children of Men. Scott Pilgrim! Yes.

Same goes with TV, I don't watch much but have enjoyed: breaking bad, episodes, fresh meat, adventure time, the office (british), most british comedy, 비정상 회담 (영어 자막 보면서!)

Completed the bicycle trail from Incheon to Pusan, over three separate trips - maybe not that amazing for some, but for me it was a big deal!
