In April 2017 I quit my job to go travelling full time - lasted about 3 years up until COVID. Best thing I've ever done. Now I travel with work regularly as an support engineer and looking to meet locals / fellow travellers where I go.

I am a very positive, happy and open minded person and tend to get along with anyone no matter their walk of life or background. I am very respectful of people's time, property and their ways of life.

I travel for 2 reasons. To explore and to meet the locals. No better a way to meet and learn from the locals than to couch surf with them!

Eclectic tastes in everything.
Music - I love music - singer songwriter, folk, blues, Hozier I could listen to any time. I kind of go through random phases of listening to different genres... until I go through a spree of podcasts or books / audiobooks.
Movies- will give anything a watch especially if it's unique. Superhero movies / star wars / fast & furious 18 for the most part I've no interest in anymore

Whale watched in the Azores.
Went paragliding in the Austrian Alps.
Climbed all the highest peaks in Ulster (Munster, Leinster, Connacht your time is coming!)
Threw a water balloon down a tuba in a marching band when I was 12 (first attempt).

Guitar, piano, singing, stories, travel tips... not guaranteeing any of those will be good 🤪
I probably have a story that relates to any discussion or conversation. Mightn't all be 100% true but I know better than to let the truth get in the way of a good story.
I know some great jokes and some terrible jokes too.
I use a lot of random expressions being Irish, so you'll probably learn a few of them just from chatting with me.
My best dishes to cook involve anything that involves chopping and throwing everything into a big pot with a load of spices.

I can share a sing song, a serious amount of stories and a good chat. Oh and lots of positive waves! I've also been told by CS hosts I'm a good listener - who better a person to talk to than a completely open-minded, non-judgmental, friendly guy you just met staying on your couch ha ha.

Other than that I'm willing to lend a hand if you need help with anything.
