Hello, we’re Stephen & Kareen, we’re 27 both. We’re traveling all around the world since August 2017. We’re traveling by volunteering with Workaway & HelpX. We’ve worked in two animal rescue centers in Andros and now in Syros (Greece).

We love art, hiking (and hitchhiking because we can really meet the locals), music (all sort of music from reggae to techno music).

We wish to discover new cultures and new people thanks to Couchsurfing. For us it’s not a way to travel for free, it’s a way to listen stories of the hosts, to speak about our adventures and exchange our points of view because we’re open minded.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time we were in Versailles (near Paris, France), and we were really exhausted, it was raining and we didn’t know where to go, where to sleep in this town. We have taken a break in a kebab just 3 minutes. And suddenly we met a guy from Cameroun named Soleil (yes Soleil which means Sun in French, or The Sun King named Louis XIV who lived in Versailles Lol). We speak with him just 5 minutes because when he saw our bags, it remembers him his long trip all around Africa. Just after he invites us to his home. We spend 3 days at his home, speaking about our road trips, eating foods from his country..it was really amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share our experiences how to live on the road with just a little money, we can share also our experiences like volunteers in Animal rescue centers. If you wish to speak French you’re welcome!! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our experiences with hitchhiking, our good days or sometimes bad days when we travel (we often remember the bad days lol). Also if you want to eat some French food, we can cook together ! :D
