Overview
About Me
I love life. I have no idea what direction I want to go with my life so I'm just going where it takes me. I consider myself very open minded and always look to try new things. I grew up in a house with four brothers, my dad and my poor mom.. I love sailing, meeting people, discovering new cultures and learning new languages. I've recently graduated high school and am starting a new chapter in my life. I hope this next chapter consist of all kinds of new things, new people, and travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to meet some great people and share experiences, share laughs, and explore a new world! I don't want to just visit new places, but I want to be immersed in their culture. I'm new to couch surfing but the whole idea of it is intriguing and super appealing to me. Plus I love meeting new people and sharing stories and staying in someone's house sounds like a pretty decent ice breaker. I'm not just looking for a couch, I am perfectly comfortable with my hammock and my sleeping bag if need be. I want to create bonds and share experiences with people who can share their culture and their own experiences with me.
Interests
Travel, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, sailing, running, nature, history, swimming, free diving, volleyball, relaxing, long walks on the beach (and short ones) and I enjoy some League of Legends, making short films and fitness.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite band: Manchester Orchestra (If you don't know them check it out, they're sort of a indie/ alternative rock) I also enjoy emo and punk. But really I'll listen to anything.
Favorite movie: I love movies and you can't make me choose. If I'm ever having a slow day, it's movies. All kinds of movies. Classics, action, drama, indie. And I have a weird thing for Jean Claude Van Damme movies.
Favorite books: anything that's thought provoking. I question everything, so a book that helps me do that is a good book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've spent to weeks in a boys orphanage in Bolivia. Not much else I'm looking to add to this list. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Anyone who wants help with English! I'm also a Blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and by no means qualified to instruct, but I would be more than willing to share some basics with someone who is interested!
I would love to learn local languages! Even if it's only hello or goodbye, languages fascinate me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
American Culture, crazy stories, and a smile. :) I know the more typical thing that people share with host is "I cook a mean ____ " or "I will cook you classic (insert country) cuisine " but unfortunately I am no chef. I can cook a few recipes which are delicious and you've probably never had! But typically my cooking skills stop at eggs and bacon. (which I can make for you!) but if you want to take the risk (not really a risk) I will be more than happy to cook you one of my mom's delicious dishes! And fear not! What I lack in cooking skills I make up for in conversation and humor!
