CURRENT MISSION

Having worked some ridiculous hours over the past 5 years, now is the time to focus more on me and what I want. It's time to see the world, one holiday at a time, while still making a living to survive.

ABOUT ME

Male, 29 years old from Auckland, New Zealand.

Socially, I'm fairly laid back. I like watching TV (drama, animation, action, some reality TV, news, sports), movies (action, thriller, horror), listening to music (R&B, rap, pop, rock), etc. I don't mind going out in a group but I hate it when people smoke. I used to play [field] hockey but I'm not the same youthful player I used to be ;)

At work, some say I'm a perfectionist or "detail oriented" but my philosophy is you either do it right or don't do it at all. My work took over my life for the last 5 years of my life and now that I'm a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, I'm trying to get back to a good work/life balance. I encounter people from many different nationalities in my work (Austria, Iraq, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, The Netherlands, Australia, USA, China, South Korea, The Philippines and Singapore to name a few).

Be your own person. Don't do what others are doing just because they are doing it.

I'm don't read too many books nowadays. When I do, they are generally topical books or related to hobbies (business related or website development).

I can't choose only one. New Zealand has so many amazing things going for it including the geothermal activity at Rotorua, North Island and South Island scenery, Luge and Zorb at Rotorua, and being the current holders of the Rugby World Cup to name just a few.
