ABOUT ME

I like finding out about new things, or maybe the same things in a new way. Repetition is also good sometimes though - like good food, which is great.

PHILOSOPHY

I think I probably see life as a giant novel, which one day I hope I'll write. It'll probably come in rhyming couplets when it does.

Interesses

I'm always on the look out for things it may be possible to be interested in. But here's some stuff I'm interested in now:

experimental music, public spaces, maths, contemporary poetry, views from high places, philosophy, being quite-but-not-very drunk, doing things on purpose, train stations.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like things which do something uncomfortably new to me:
Movies: Herzog, Lynch at the moment.
Music: krautrock mainly perhaps - though also free-jazz, noise, free-improvisation, modern classical.
Books: books with exciting language.

I saw an orange sun setting sideways across the smoke-plumes of Ha'erbin from the middle of a frozen river, standing alone. I was a little tired and it got me just right.
