My current mission is to craft my skill as a film maker, improve my Chinese and continue to see the world

ABOUT ME

The question I most fear being asked in life is 'where are you from'?

This is because the answer is rather long, complex and potentially very confusing. It is perhaps best illustrated through a series of bullet points:

- I have Irish parents and Irish nationality, yet have never lived in Ireland
- I was born in Luxembourg since my parents were working there at the time.
- I grew up in England and Belgium with a short interlude in Hawaii
- I studied Psychology and Film at the University of Sussex in Brighton, UK between 2005-2008.

Once graduated, I had an irrepressible desire to get out of the country and see the world. I trained as a teacher and have spent the past three years living and working in Vietnam, Turkey and China, travelling as much as possible while doing so.

I to challenge myself on a daily basis and to make the absolute most from any given situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attend meetings and I host when I can. I am yet to surf myself but I've used CS as a way to meet travel buddies and locals when travelling.

I hope to attend more regular meetings this year in Shanghai and participate more in the community.
