ABOUT ME

I grew up near Toronto, but went to French school (mom French, Dad English) and moved by to parent's homeland, Quebec, when I was 14. Continued going to French school and discovering this very profound language in french original, with authors like Sartre, Merleaux-Ponty, Derrida.... university (one verse) or multiversity (many different verses and seeing life), I prefer the multiversity view, and had the chance of experiencing this that the University of Concordia, where I did my undergraduate degree in a climate of pure diversity...maybe one of the most diverse shools in the world...
I was in Iceland in 2003 and read Laxness' Independant people on the way back, and became an Icelandophile. I am very impressed by the pure beauty of Iceland and its people. I even took Icelandic lessons in Montreal and love learning the language !
And so, I have decided to go back since the first time in 2003 where I climbed mount hekla and was one night in Reykjavic. I am looking forward to this experience again.
Sinon, je fais aussi beaucoup de musique...I love to play guitar, and sing in French and English ... my job takes up most of my time because I work in the very demanding field of biomedical sciences...
but in any event, look forward to meeting you all in Reykjavik or Montréal !

Love meeting new people in Montreal and showing them around the city and also going to shows in local music scene which is a thriving indie, and mostly everything else out there, musical melting-pot.

My couchsurfing experiences with Yolaine and Elodie have been excellent ! They were so good that we are now roomates !
