ABOUT ME Enthusiastic, usually sociable, interested, sometimes funny, lifelong gym rat, philosophically inclined, and always available for karaoke, arts and crafts nights, or a hike through the wilderness. I’m in the market for new experiences. Last October I quit my job of thirteen years as a corporate trainer, sold my house and most of my belongings, and have taken myself on a sabbatical. Most of the time since has been spent exploring the US by car. I made the jump to Europe in July.

I play a couple instruments poorly-to-adequately and have been singing most of my adult life in bands and the occasional wedding. Nick Cave, Springsteen, and U2 are my musical trinity, but I enjoy most anything if it’s passionate, fun, or has vision. Enthusiasm is key. I’ve been reading a lot of travel memoirs along with Ralph Waldo Emerson, William James, and Albert Camus. I’m excited about immersive theater and shortening the gap between performer and audience, am in awe of performance artist Marina Abramovic, and have recently come to love contemporary and modern art- mostly for its challenging of convention. I’m new to it all.

I can teach you how to command an audience from the stage, give a public speech, facilitate a class, change the oil and brakes on your car, make bacon, and perfect your squats and deadlifts in the gym. I want to learn from the artists. I’d like to pick up surfing.
