Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had guest stay with us from Germany, France, and Australia. We met them through a similar web site (not couchsurfing). We have also had a few couchsurfers stay with us from around the world. I surfed once in Tampa and had a great experience. Each experience was unique and rewarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

love all music but rap and hip hop. I am a major movie buff and have seen a TON of movies. My favorites are Mary Poppins, Hairspray, and Dead Poet's Society. Recently I really enjoyed A Home at the End of the Earth. Dune by Frank Herbert is my all time favorite book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode 165 miles on my bicycle from Miami to Key West last year to raise money for local AIDS charities. Our team raised $10,000. It was the challenge and experience of a lifetime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a Disney World "expert" and love to share my knowledge on this, give trip-planning advice, or even be a free personal tour guide at the parks.

I want to increase my conversational skills. My shyness often gets in the way, and I want to do better at connecting with others.
