About Me

ABOUT ME

Always smiling, and happy. Love to see the sights and also the little local pockets away from the tourist scene.
I'm a PhD student in cancer imaging, and can talk about my work if it's an interest.
I love craft beers and all beers generally, and can show you some amazing beers around London, and love going to craft breweries around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always had a great experience meeting people form couchsurfing. Locals know best what to do, see and experience in their own city, and I'd like to take advantage of that!

I'm also aware of how expensive travel can be, and it would be great to save some monies to enable us to have more experiences around the globe.

Interests

I love to cook, and try my hand at photography. I'm somewhat sporty, enjoying the social aspect of it although I'm never any good. My next mission is a marathon after completing a olympic distance triathlon in September.
If you'd like to stay with me, please make a request as personal as possible. It can be tiring and laborious to send individual messages, but that's what I do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read on my commute, and when I travel I will always have a book to hand.
I have an eclectic mix of music, from Stealing Sheep to La Femme and anywhere between. Jorja Smith is an amazing artist, and the band Her (HerVevo) are wonderful. The Blaze are great and you should go see them somewhere!
I'm not good with remembering names of artists, songs, however - but I listen to whatever is suggested to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to a small town in France without speaking French - pourquoi pas?!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can go for a run around some of the fantastic parks of London. Or what I do as a scientist is quite an interesting debate sometimes.

I'd love to become more comfortable in speaking French. And I always want to learn what "you have beautiful eyes" is in a new language. So far I know it in Finnish, Polish, French, Spanish and German

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been told I make great scones.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cambodia, Canada, Denmark, France, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
