Hi there! I'm Stephiné, a married, 37 year old ESL teacher. I also work with kids with special needs and volunteer at a wildlife rescue center. I love traveling, camping, swimming, hiking, reading, chatting, hangin out in my hammock, going to live shows, happy hours, drinking coffee on my back porch, taking my dogs out to eat and play, meeting new people, just living life and trying new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just quit my public school teaching job and I have more time and energy to do the things I've been meaning to do for a while now. Eric and I have traveled to Costa Rica twice in the last year!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love local Austin music, indi, jazz, rock, jam, some electronic music. My fav band is Phish and I travel around to see them when I can. I love independent films and high quality movies. I'm not that big into Hollywood blockbusters, but there are a few that I will get down with. I LOVE sci-fi books, movies and tv series. Anyway, I like trying new genres and hearing what others are interested in also.
