Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Always heard about it and how wonderful it was, finally using it to find out for myself. After having experienced it a few times now, I've really loved all my times surfing and hope to be able to host one day. Especially surfing in Australia was nice, because it was really easy to get hostel/backpacker fatigue and being able to meet local people who weren't just interested in the beach and booze was great.

Interests

Travel is the obvious one. I spend most of my time saving up for the next trip, usually while living abroad. My bucket list is a mile long.

I listen to and make a lot of podcasts! I won't self promote on here, but they're pretty fun if you're into nerdy stuff. I spend significant chunks of my time being that person laughing to myself on the bus thanks to podcast.

Beer, Pub Trivia, Getting beer at Pub Trivia, Stupid movies but also good ones, walking/hiking, board games, tabletop RPGs, and chatting.

It varies like all the time but some all time winners are: A Song of Ice and Fire, Mistborn, The Wheel of Time, Harry Potter, Monty Python's Flying Circus (and the movies), Disney movies, Penny Dreadful, Sailor Moon and other verified nerd shit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took the evening banquet tour at the Hobbiton set in New Zealand with my sister and friend. We're all big fans, who had been to the set before but doing the evening tour was another level of magical.
