About Me

I'm hoping to be able to share cultural experiences with people around the world.

These days it’s easy to take the human element out of the equation. Everything that you need can be found on the internet but it’s when those tools are used to actually bring people together that they add a huge value to our society. I think the idea of sharing your home with other open individuals would be an excellent way to meet new people and expand my view of the world as a whole.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing because when I'm traveling I want to be able to get a grasp on the culture that's local to that region. Coming into any new place it's hard to break through that tourist barrier and actually feel like you're getting the experience as people who actually live in that region.

I hope not only to get that experience while on my journeys but to also provide that feeling of home town inclusion while others pass through my city.

Music, Movies, and Books

The album that I'm listening to on repeat currently is Jacob Collier's In My Room. I'm also a huge fan of Rock n' Roll so the Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd rank pretty high on my list.
I have to also include: Dire Straits, Talking Heads, The Flaming Lips, Stevie Wonder, Andy Shauf, Buddy Rich and Leon Bridges.

I really enjoy science fiction so I've recently read Annihilation, Artemis and Cats cradle. However I'm trying to read more non fiction and am currently reading Between the world and me.

The one movie that I've liked the most recently was Shape of Water by Guillermo del Toro. I've also been watching a lot of Scorsese films like Taxi Driver, and Goodfellas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the opportunity of operating a fleet of low earth orbit satellites.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to make a garlic paste, I'm not an amazing cook but I just picked that trick up. Also I'd love to chat about future space exploration.
I would love to learn about your culture. I would be more than happy to share whatever you'd like to know about me or my life experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a laugh, a drink, a meal, or a hike, whichever you'd prefer.

Countries I’ve Visited
