Living in different countries--first New Zealand, then Australia, and who knows what will be next?

ABOUT ME

We had been wanting to move out of the US for a while and finally got the cajones to pick up and leave. NZ was our first stop and we loved it so much we decided to stay an extra year before moving on to OZ. Now we live in Melbourne and are really excited to see a new country!

Currently Nick is an accountant, and Stacy has just quit her "day job" to become a Pilates instructor.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We really like hosting because it makes you appreciate your own city through the eyes of a newcomer and take advantage of all those "touristy" things that you don't tend to do when you live in a city.
We've also surfed with some lovely people, and have met some cool peeps through the occasional meetup.

Movies: Muppets, Team America, and Tropic Thunder
Books: We're mostly non-fiction readers. Some recent reads are: Methland, End Game (Bobby Fischer), Murikami, and Poisoner's Handbook
Music: Nick and I have very different tastes in music. I'm more of a Britney & Lady Gaga fan, while Nick likes DMB and Hall & Oates. And obviously, any ukulele music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going skydiving in Bay of Islands, a week before getting our tattoos. A lot of adrenaline-packed action in one week! It hurt so much to get the tattoos, but ever since then we can't stop thinking about what we'll get for our next ones!

Teach, Learn, Share

Stacy can teach you Pilates and Nick can teach you ukulele!
Stacy could definitely use a few cooking lessons from you...Right now I can only really make pasta and eggs on a good day.
