Am a Canadaian citizen presently in the Philippines for about two months. I'd like to travel around the Phils but not at all the strictly tourist locations. I want to see the real Philippines. I'm a scuba diver and I've travelled to many different countries. I found this site and thought I'd register to see what is available/possible. I guess I'm a little bit of a risk-taker because it's not a conventional way to travel but I'd like to try it. I'm well a mannered, clean and polite person and in no way want to burden anyone. I like meeting people and am a good listener. I don't smoke, nor do I do any drugs. That's never been interesting to me. I'm a very healthy and positive person. I try to avoid conflict and get along with everyone. I respect people's privacy and am discrete.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here primarily to meet people and possibly make some friends. I've travelled alone and it would be nice to meet some friendly people who would be kind enough to help with non-standard type of accomodations. (like couch surfing :) )
