I enjoy traveling as a hobby, but then again, who doesn't? Unlike most people I know, I like to travel solo. I love the adventure of meeting new people when I'm traveling alone. I tend to find kindred spirits.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes there is that down time when your traveling where you're in your hotel feeling lonely in a strange land and not sure what the next step to take will be. I think connecting with people via Couchsurfing may alleviate some of that stress. Plus there is the added benefit of making a new connection in the world.

My musical tastes vary wildly. I'd say I have an eclectic ear for music. I'll listen to anything from Classical to EDM. I'd have to say that I am fond of progressive house and trance at the moment.

I don't read as much as I used to. The last book I read was "Robopocalypse" by Daniel H Wilson. For those conspiracy theory enthusiast's out there, I've read "Rule by Secrecy" by Jim Marrs. World War Z by Max Brooks was great. 1984 by George Orwell is a classic (I'm starting to see a dystopian thread appear in my answer here, not by design). "The Old Man & the Sea" is another one of my favorites.

Over the past several months I've sort of fell out of love with television. There are still some shows I will watch on occasion. Here are a few:
