About Me

Open-minded, fun-loving, youthful guy from Colorado. I enjoy the outdoors. I work as a cook and find food to be a great bridge between cultures.
I am an active person who doesn't like to sit down too long.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is the best way to understand the culture of the place you are visiting. While traveling alone I feel this would be a great way to socialize and also be able to ask questions to a local about how to get around in the city as well as things to do that might not show up in tourist guide books.

Interests

Cooking, beer, snowboarding, hiking, music, camping, running, exploring, conversation, sports just to name a few.

Music, Movies, and Books

i listen to many kinds of music and it is very important in my life. Rock music to folk music to hip-hop, it's all good to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent a lot of time hiking around the mountains of Colorado in the U.S. Many of these hikes have been with a snowboard on my back so I could ride the snow back down instead of walking. One of my biggest trips was hiking up a 14,000 foot peak (4350m) in a windstorm. Snow was flying in sideways and the strength of the wind was making it hard to even move. Eventually my hiking companion and I made it to the top and were then able to ride an amazing chute down this huge mountain.
This was one of my most satisfying adventures because of how hard we had to fight onward to get to the top.
