New to Couchsurfing and newish resident in Porto. I’m in love with this city and happy to say that I’m still very much a tourist here. I love walking the city and exploring its history and its food and its wine and its music. Meeting fellow travelers to show off this amazing city and also to help me plan my next travel destination!

Classical/symphonic mostly. Former clarinetist and present-day ukulele student. But love all kinds of music. And any live performance, from street musician to fancy concert hall, gets my blood pumping.

3-day backpacking to Machu Picchu was really nice. Backpacking thru Alaska was also epic. I guess backpacking pretty much anywhere would make me happy. That seventh year at Burningman was pretty amazing, too. But it didn’t involve backpacking, so never mind.
