Overview
About Me
I'm Steve. An easy-going, kiwi lad, I do emergency medicine and im a university lecturer from New Zealand.
Locked out of NZ and Australia. So making the most of life in Poland. This is not my normal home but have an apartment for the foreseeable future.
Always looking to meet new, like-minded or different, fun-loving, adventurous, and interesting people. Sharing stories, knowledge, and experiences.
I've spent much of my young adult life in the military serving as a Paramedic in Afghanistan, Timor Leste and other destinations across the world - this sparked my interest in the wider world, people, culture, history, and of course politics.
I have a Masters's Degree in Clinical Health Science, and Professional Clinical Practice and I teach outdoor Medicine. Im not too geeky or too cool for anyone who is genuine.
I love the outdoors, the gym, and playing sport (Rugby League, cricket). Enjoy politics, history, and discussing social justice. Have a socially progressive mindset without being too much of a hippy. Yet I love capitalism. Love a good debate. ENTP.
Chilled as.
I enjoy a beer or two.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've traveled to many countries and been looked after by many people of all ethnicities. I feel most alive when learning new things and meeting new people.
Hosting is a privilege I want to return or pay forward.
I'm stuck here with a good apartment, if someone can get some joy, use or comfort from it they why not.
