Hi, I'm currently on a year away from my previous work travelling through Europe for the summer of 2019 and then Africa and beyond later in the year. Along the way I hope to document some of the world's pioneering communities in terms of democracy and self-organisation. Having studied social sciences, I interested in seeing and experiencing what's happening in new places with some great people.

I'm generally pretty active and love exploring mountains and oceans alike whilst reading, guitar and photography are other interests. Equally happy to spend an evening in the bar or on the sofa with a book. Looking forward to meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a great way to meet new people in new places and reaffirms that not everything has to be based on money. I think seeing a place through a local's eye is always the best way to understand it. I hope to be able to repay all the stays when I'm back in the UK.
