About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for accomodations during long layovers in Chicago & London on our way to Tanzania & back

ABOUT ME

Christian family of 3, super laid back, live in a very small town

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you wish to see in the world...

Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, but today is a gift... that's why it's called the 'present'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books

Christian rock in general, Books that help us grow in our relationship with God or even just a good fiction/fantasy/medieval themed one & then for movies... there are many (Steve's favorite is probably 'Shawshank Redmption' & Lana loves Disney princess movies or anything that can actually get her to laugh, & Sarah's favorite would probably be anything involving Elmo or Barney or a Horsey...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having a miracle baby (after being told we wouldn't be able to)

Having the opportunity to go to Tanzania to serve at orphanages as a couple

Teach, Learn, Share

Jesus loves you ;) John 3:16

Interested in learning more about African culture

Walk into any room in your home & take an account of all the things you have in there that your average person in a 3rd world country does without... It is very easy to get sucked into the need for 'stuff' when the only things that truly matter in life are your faith, family, & friends... and the bare necessities to survive = clean air, water, food, & shelter. Be thankful for all you have been given & be a cheerful giver to those less fortunate than yourself.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, China, Mexico, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
