ABOUT ME

I'm someone who values friendships, family and the outdoors. I love hiking, climbing and anything in the mountains. I spend as much of my time travelling as possible in pursuit of my never ending quest to satisfy my curiously about the world and all it's people. I'm always up for an adventure, I love meeting new people and I love to learn about a new place. I'm an anglophone from the Rocky Mountains in Canada and in addition to travelling, I love wine, books and anything sweet. I'm polite, curious, adventurous and always looking for a chance to repay another traveller for the amazing hospitality I have encountered on the road.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host, surf, travel, show a fellow traveller around or just hang out. I have experienced such genuine kindness and hospitality while travelling, I would like to pass it on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to surfing through some friends I met at hostel. It is a great way to really see a place. I think that it's easy to meet other travellers but not always easy to get to know locals in a meaningful and non-transactional way. Surfing gets right at the heart of this and facilitates a more authentic experience.

I'm been to 30 or so countries and seen many wonders and sometimes I think a little magic. Machu Pichu, Angkor Wat, Riding Camels in the Sahara, Grand Canyon, Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Sunrise from Kinabalu in Borneo, Camping in the Serengeti, Balloon Ride in Cappadohcia Turkey to name a few.

I know a fair bit about history, economics and geo politics. I'm always happy to share my thoughts on the road. I'm pretty savvy about the outdoors and I love to show off my backyard ( the Rocky Mountians)

I'm interested in languages especially Spanish and I'm always looking to brush up. I'm also keen for a book recommendation at any time.
