CURRENT MISSION

Don't let my age fool you, it's better My last name be your guide as to how I act. I'm often as energetic as the people I am hiking with. My travel resume has increased a fair bit over the last 10 years. Hopefully I'll be able to get it going again soon. But for now I'm based in the Tahoe area, and trying to heal up a bit from a few physical issues

ABOUT ME

I am an easygoing, honest, sometimes quiet, until you get to know me kind of guy. When I get in a good mood and comfortable I can be pretty funny and I am always nice. I really try to be a good guest. Unfortunately, gift giving has never been my strong point. So if I try giving one and you have to scratch your head about what I was thinking, appreciate the thought 😱 LOL
I am into puns and a lot of other jokes. Unfortunately, with a lot of my jokes you may have to understand my culture. If English isn't your first language, they don't always turn out well. But I'll keep on experimenting till I get it right!! I like to make people laugh 😂

I am usually unable to host, but I will often put up an event to travel somewhere, national parks road trips or local areas that are beautiful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have organized little trips to places in California, I've met a lot of people here and abroad. Usually very good experiences.

Interests

Anything outdoors. Hikes, drives, lakes, oceans, wildlife, gold prospecting, exploring, baseball, american football, meeting cool people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Science fiction, comedies, I can get into most movies... if they are above mediocre..
I'm constantly changing channels on the radio, but often like older things, pop, light rock, sports talk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a biking trip up the Australian Coast from Sydney to Brisbane.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I enjoy teaching English to those who are struggling. I love teaching pronunciation as well. It's quite challenging but fun.
As I am a massage therapist and formerly worked at Google as one until the layoffs, if you feel a little sore and broken, I can probably help. I'll share any other bits of wisdom I may have. Definitely not computers though. My only motto with computers is, "reboot, reboot and reboot. If that doesn't work, maybe a hammer will fix it, then reboot"
