About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and experience the world

ABOUT ME

I love to travel and I'm working towards seeing and experiencing the world first hand. I have a job as a Firefighter in Canada that has been great for giving me the time off and money to be able to travel far and often. This year I've taken a year leave of absence and have spent a lot of time studying and learning about sustainable housing design and construction. I've been in school for the past few months in Vermont and am now pointing my wheels south and spending the next few months driving down through Central America. I'm into pretty much anything active like running, biking, hiking, surfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short ... go live it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'd like to try hosting, in the future I'd like to try couchsurfing myself

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing but not new to traveling or feeling the random gereousity of a stranger in a new place. I belive in paying it forward and I think this is a good way to do it.

Interests

Travel (all types), learning spanish, playiing ukulele (I love music but am not very musically inclined), great food (cooking and eating), moutain biking, hiking, anything that makes me laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

just read "scar tissue" that was good. I'm reading "playing with fire" now. I love all music really I do I like anything that sounds good to me some metal, rap, tecno, house, country, oldies, classic rock I dig it all. As for movies I'm a comiedy guy, I like shit like "the hang over", "Happy gilmore", "forgeting sarah marshal", "superbad" that type of thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The salt flats in Bolivia blew me away felt like I was on another planet.

Teach, Learn, Share

Tip- When I go on a trip I figure out how many days I'll be gone and put that many Q-tips in my bathroom kit, works out to the perfect amount.
