ABOUT ME

Born in Singapore, but grew up traveling here and there due to family members living in Australia, Europe, etc. Have always been into music, History and learning about new cultures and am a singer/songwriter as well.

Studied and grew up in Singapore, but also consider Melbourne and San Francisco homes, since my Mum's family live in Melbourne, and I've lived in San Francisco for a few years while studying at UC Berkeley and traveling around the United States.

Traveled around the world and love, love, love museums, historical attractions and cultural events. Learnt Thai, Arabic and French during my 2 year plus stint in the military (yes, I was in the military before going to College).

Am a History/English teacher as well, and am currently teaching and writing travel for a magazine in Singapore.

Music is my passion and I hope to pursue my career in the music industry in the US soon! :)

I can cook - and love cooking Singaporean cuisine. I enjoy cooking and hosting dinner parties to friends and others - I think it's a great way to meet new people.

Movies, music, history, culture and languages. I can be quite a geek, give me a few history books, and I'll be happy to read and just chill over coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed twice before - though have never hosted anyone - I guess I am kinda new to this too! :)

Love animals, cats especially. Somewhat of a neat freak, but don't expect that of others around me. I can read, listen to music and chill all day.

Social, not a huge drinker, though it depends, non-smoker.

Travel junkie, I love moving around.
