I've just returned to DC after a year working with refugees on the Burma border, followed by another year teaching in Korea. I love transitional moments like this, when you've got few ties to concrete things and a feeling of possibility =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed couches in the US, and in Thailand. When I'm settled and have a place of my own, I will open my doors to the world =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in San Diego, Philadelphia, Bangkok, and San Francisco so far.. all great hosts. I've found meetups to be amazing experiences regardless of whether I'm actually couchsurfing. Monthly potlucks seem to draw such interesting people..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived in an abandoned, weather-beaten beach house in Costa Rica for 2 weeks. And I got hit by a mini-bus in Laos on a motorcycle. That was ridiculous.

I'm about to be a teacher of English, so I'm happy to help with that =) I like learning odd card games, and getting good book recommendations. I hope I get lost more often...
I can teach you some cool bar bets if you want to make a buck.
And I'm full-on learning to spin poi, and would love to help you get started!
Having been briefly exposed to it recently, I really want to learn some shady dice games too.. haha
