About Me

ABOUT ME

Aloha!

I have a very long story and an unconventional childhood, but have grown into a "responsible" adult... I also realize that this is only one side of life and the flip-side is equally important, if not more so.

A good surf session with friends is hard to beat! Picking shells, stars above a barbeque on the beach, swimming over reefs swarming with fish, hiking to waterfalls to swim in cold, bubbling pools and other such adventures are what I love to do on my days off.

One of my dreams right now is to plant taro and grow my own food. I want to work towards being energy independent and living in a more sustainable ways!

Some passions: the outdoors, the ocean and nature, photography, culture and the arts as well as the sciences... I have a very strong down-to-earth nature that is based in sustainability, good food and enjoying life!

PHILOSOPHY

"Your life is now!"

I love reggae, but listen to just about anything depending on the situation and mood... There aren't any movie theaters on the island, but sometimes watch stuff on the computer (Films for Action!)...

Teach, Learn, Share

Living off the land in the valley... the sciences (anthropology, geology, botany, meteorology, astronomy to name a few), the arts (photography, jewelry making, writing)... Hawaiian language and culture...
