at the moment i am based back in the UK. After 15 years or more of living, traveling and learning abroad, largely in the French Alps and Spanish Andalusian mountains, i am now spending time at home with my Mum. A digestive issue has meant i have needed to return to the UK for medical help and this feels like a great opportunity for renewing and rebuilding myself, as well as strengthening family connections that have have i not been able to give proper attention to while being away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

something i should have done for along time. i love the idea of being able to share with friends, new or old. i have lived and worked in different communities in Europe, Canada and India, often hitchhiking and 'coach-surfing' while traveling about, without ever needing to use coach surfing as things have just fallen in to place each time. however i see the possibilities open up when connecting through the web to other like minded people.
