I'm just a small town fella newly arrived in the exciting metropolis of Montreal. I live here with my wife, our dog, and 2 cats. Before that, I lived in various places across the U.S.A. Life put me in Canada, so I say let's make frozen lemonade.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My whole life I've loved enjoying the hospitality of others - relatives, better-off-than-me friends, you name it! Now I'm slowly crawling to a position in my life where I can do the same, and I happen to be in an exciting, sprawling city that attracts travelers. What better time to see how the other half lives?
At the same time, I've lived in the U.S. for my whole life. I was offered a job in Montreal and moved up here hastily, and since then I've hardly had a chance to drink in the experience. My wife and I would love to meet locals for hangouts who can show us how to properly enjoy the home we've suddenly found ourselves in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've met a good handful of Nobel laureates.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to find French conversation partners! In return I'll teach you the meaning of friendship and how to fold a paper butterfly.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a professional scientist, so I'm happy to field your personal criticisms about what we're not doing to save to the world. Your opinion counts!
I'm fluent in 8 forms of video game console and am a graceful loser. Crush me at your favorite game and impress the opposite sex!
Lastly I can guarantee no matter what your cooking is and who has been unable to stomach it, I will devour it voraciously and compliment you generously.
