I am a 30 year old male from Plymouth, Devon in the UK.
I lived in New Zealand for just over a year back in 2002-2003 with my parents and older brother and have been hooked on travel and adventure sports ever since.
I have recently returned from a a 2 year break from work. Where I travelled as much as possible having great experiences and meeting lots of amazing new people

I am on Couchsurfing because it is a great way to meet new people and truly discover a new city or country outside of just the normal tourist spots

Intereses

I am a keen runner and am a member of my local running club Plymouth Harriers back in the UK.
One of my aims for my 2 years of is to complete the 6 World Marathon Majors
(WMM) London, Boston, Chicago, New York, Berlin & Tokyo.

My favourite movies are Action & Comedy

I tend to read travel or adventure related books but often read lots of other different genres also. One thing I like about travelling and meeting new people is that you will often be put on to a book or author that you might not ave come across otherwise and I always return from travelling with a long list of books to add to the reading pile.

It's hard to just pick one.
I have been very lucky to witness or do so many amazing things in my travels.
Climbing to the top and witnessing the amazing power and beauty of the Nyiragongo volcano in the Democratic Republic of Congo, one of only 5 active lava lakes in the world would defiantly rank up n the top 5.
I will also never forget the 2 amazing experiences I have had whilst trekking mountain Gorillas in both Uganda and The DRC. I am such a big fan of these beautiful creatures and anytime spent with them in there nature environment is truly a special moment and it is so sad to think that they could soon be extinct.
