Overview
About Me
Australian, born and raised in Melbourne. My father was from China who moved to Melbourne to study, and mother is from Vietnam who came to Australia to escape the war. They met at a shopping centre, and now here I am; wandering across the globe to explore different cultures and meet different people from all walks of life, with all sorts of stories. I am an International Business graduate who is now working in the fast-paced corporate world. Outside of work I practice, teach and compete in Karate. I have been training for over 10 years. I am extremely open-minded and spend most my free time with family and friends. We share drinks, enjoy good food, and most importantly.. spend time in good company. I live and breathe the Melbourne culture, which includes; barbecues, beers, nightlife, beach, sports, coffee, the great outdoors, festivals and a diversity of cultural cuisines.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my 2018 Europe backpacking trip; I used CS for the first time, and met so many interesting people with their own unique stories, experiences and way of life. I had an incredible time Couchsurfing through Europe. Hence why I've decided that I would give it a crack and host when I get back to Australia!
Music, Movies, and Books
I read both non-fiction and fiction books, and love to trade books while travelling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A big bag of clothes was donated by everyone from our Karate club in 2017. We took this bag with us on our trip to India and shared it with the people and kids of a rural village we visited.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Karate. I am very interested in learning the true culture of a country and how the locals live. I will share my life experiences as well as the different cultures that I grew up in.
