I am a 29 year old Colorado native, born in Denver in November 1990. I grew up in a suburb called Lakewood, just southwest of Denver. I've lived in Colorado my whole life, and attended 5 semesters of college at Colorado School of Mines, studying civil engineering. I never finished my degree, but instead moved on to pursue other things. I helped open and manage 3 barbeque restaurants, and ran a food truck for years. After that, I began working as a brewer and bartender at a local craft brewery. I have been brewing for about 3 years now. Outside of work, I love to play music (drums), watch live music, take care of my dogs, snowboard, play disc golf, rock climb, hike, raft, camp, and many other fun things to do in Colorado.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have helped host couchsurfers and many friends from abroad at my home since I was about 14 years old. I have always enjoyed meeting people from around the world and sharing experiences with them where I live. I think Couchsurfing is one of the coolest, most unifying, amazing programs in the world. I'm excited and happy that such a thing exists for those who wander! Although I have traveled a fair amount in my life, seeing many places across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and all throughout Europe, I have an eternal urge to experience more cultures and see more and more of the natural beauty of this world.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a musician, I love jamming with fellow musicians. I'm always interested in playing with other people, whether I'm beating on some drums, playing a guitar, singing, or trying something new. I'd be happy to teach some drums or show someone how to strum a few guitar chords. Having cooked and brewed beer for many years, I love talking about food and beer, and teaching people more about the processes. I am very open-minded and willing to learn just about anything. Learning new skills or information is one of my favorite things to do.
