I'm a final-year college Student in the states. I've grown up my whole life surfing and so I've saved up a bit of money to go surfing around the DR for a few weeks. My ideal is to be as cheap as possible, less of a splurge vacation, entirely a jump at spending time on the water :)

Turns out the DR hostels are a little bit more pricey than I had initially thought. Looks like tourism did a dirty number on the travel prices so I'm searching for the cost-effective way to move around the country!
