I've always loved to travel, but the older I get the more I'm able to take some time away and see the world. I'm an airplane geek, a low time rusty pilot who sticks with controlling these days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to explore a place is with and surrounded by locals that know it best. I don't mind supporting hotels and AirBnB hosts, but I'm hoping to get even more into the local atmosphere with new opportunities.

Interests

Aside from work-related interests, I'm a distance runner - having done two half and one full marathon recently. I'm signed up for another in Jan 2017. I obviously like to travel, love the Lord, and getting to meet new people and exchange stories about travel and local spots. I'm a fairly addicted Formula1 fan. I also enjoy sampling, exploring, and touring local craft beers/breweries and wineries. I work on my own cars and built and installed a new v8 into my sports car recently. I like the outdoors, especially hiking to picturesque spots: mountain peaks and waterfalls.
