I recommend reading Wendell Berry's The Unsettling of America. Also I am greatful, honest, and loving. "Be the change you want to see in the world" os one of my favorite sayings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well amazing is opinionated of course. So in my opinion one Amazing thing I have done is: I went on a rural and urban farm tour in Kansas City and Lawrence Kansas. With permacultureist Steve Moring of Oskalooska Kansas as our host, we met plenty of people doing great things with their homes and gardens. All natural food forests, organic gardening, orchards, aqua ponics, and more. I explored and met the Urban Farm Guys out of Kansas City Missouri who are bringing self sufficiency to the ghetto. Had a blast and learned a few new things.
