ABOUT ME

27 years old, interested in a whole host of things, from international affairs, to music, to sports, to film.... You name it and I'm probably interested. I'm pretty easy going and like to laugh and, really, I just like meeting new people.

I travel a lot for a variety of reasons and one of the best things is meeting people, local or otherwise, and discovering places together. I've had a number of great and varied experiences with couchsurfing - Crashing with a friend on the couch of an undergrad flat in Granada drinking whisky all night, or going hiking with local Russians in Irkutsk. I'm always interested in what the next adventure will be and what it will look like.

Where I'm staying at the moment, I have a spare room and would happily share it with someone in need of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to pick 1 so:

1) Backpacking across Eastern Africa when I was 18. On a tight budget I met the nicest people and saw incredible things, Masaai camps, Zanzibar, Savannah Wildlife

2) Cossing into Leh, Ladakh in India. The whole feel of the place was amazing with the Buddhist culture and weird (but beautiful) landscape all around.

3) Horse trekking and camping in Kovsol, Mongolia. Having never even been near a horse before to spend a week riding with them and camping in the most stunning of environments was a special experiance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not much of a teacher, god knows I've tried in the past, but I'm very much up for learning and sharing.

I can bullshit about anything with mixed degrees of confidence .
