ABOUT ME

I've always been described as a very easy-going guy. I like my own space, and love travelling solo, but I also love to socialize and meet new friends wherever I go.
I'm currently working as a freelance videographer, and am lucky enough to have worked on some great projects. The dream would be to combine my love of travelling with my video work...fingers crossed for the future!

As much as I love my friends and family in my home-town, I find it hard to talk with them about my passion of travelling and meeting people from around the globe.
What I love about CouchSurfing if the opportunity to meet and discuss this passion with people who share my interests and philosophy, and I home to continue this into the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I sometimes have a free-couch to sleep on, but I also always try to find time to meet people who are passing through London. I really enjoy taking them for a beer in a local pub, or playing as a tour-guide by showing them around the city. So feel free to message me if you need some company :-)
I'm based in the suburbs of South-East London, in travelcard Zone 4...so in order to get to the City, a 30 minute train-journey is required. I do this trip to work every-day, so I'm used to it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was lucky enough to couch-surf a number of times during my time in Canada, and the experience was amazing. I wish to continue meeting and staying with amazing people in the future.

Interests

I got the first taste of travelling in 2009 while backpacking around Australia and New Zealand, and have acquired a taste for it ever since! I also spent a year living and working in Canada, which was an amazing way to experience living with a culture and community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is basically a big part of my life - I love all genres, from metal and indie through to dance and trip-hop. I'm very old-school when it comes to my collection...at least half of the music in my itunes are classic rock/dance tunes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming the great barrier reef in Cairns was an amazing experience. I also visited Yukon in Northern Canada, and took part in some local dog-sledding...it was something I'll never forget :-)
