I am a very relaxed and open person, I like trying new things, challenging myself, and exploring other cultures and ways of living. I'm usually traveling on a budget to get as many experiences as I can out of the time and money I've saved. Love traveling with friends and family, no problem being solo either.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host people when I'm home. While traveling I participate by interacting and building relationships with hosts, not just flopping on your couch! I have made some very good friends through this website.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and surfed all over the world and it's been an great experience thus far. In recent years the amount of surfers with sparse profiles and sending generic messages has been discouraging.

Interests

Well there are quite a lot but, traveling, volunteering, making art (printmaking among others), surfing, taking photographs, trying new things, practicing speaking foreign languages, meeting new people, cooking, eating delicious food, going on long hikes, snowboarding, music, reading everyday, challenging myself, other people's stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listen to every kind of music depending on my mood. I love to read! I try and balance fiction and non fiction. JAWS is my favorite movie with The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly a close second.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled 6 continents (would like to make it 7 if anyone knows a good way to get to Antarctica), 75 countries and 49 states back home (USA---by motorcycle, missing Alaska). 日本で秋田県以外に全部行ったことあります)。
