About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Travel, so I might catch a glimpse of the beauty that lies in this world's people and nature

ABOUT ME

I'm an avid reader and seeker of truth. If there is one thing that I've always been, is searching.Searching to improve and to explore. I enjoy sailing, outdoor activities, going on adventures. Having a conversation, that leads to broadened horizons and opened minds. I tend to write a lot, mostly a sort of fiction that incorporates some of my personal experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Live the Moments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the wonderful opportunity to spend 8 months in Australia. I couchsurfed in Melbourne with a wonderful couple. The experience was truly incredible for me, especially at that moment in my trip. I was in need of a helping hand, and the people who lended the hand were wonderful and lights in this world. I'm truly thankful to have gotten to know them for the week I spent there with them.

Interests

Writing, Chess, Reading, Sailing, General Adventuring, Hiking, Biking, Surfing, Fixing things up (like an old car or boat) and of course Traveling.

Good Will Hunting, Shawshank Redemption, The way of the peaceful warrior( movie and book), The Alchemist, The Power of Now, The Shift by Wayne Dyer, The Long Way by Bernard Moitessier, The Wanderer by Sterling Hayden, The Prophet by Kahil Gibran(a recommendation of a fellow couch surfer)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The sun rising through the building of Melbourne, Australia on the new year of 2012, with hostel friends that became family. The night sky of sailing trip, where we stopped in the keys and slept on the beach where for entertainment we had shooting stars all night to wish upon.
