After graduating from university in Chicago, I decided to go teach English in Paris for a year. I ended up staying for four. Nearly six years later, I'm still in Europe, now living in Madrid, trying my tongue at Spanish. And I still don't really know where my journeys will take me...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having my first dream in French and realizing that French had really become a part of me.

Being caught in a sandstorm in the White Desert in Egypt just as we were setting up camp. Then taking a moonlight hike to the top of a nearby mesa and seeing nothing but stars and sand in every direction.
