ABOUT ME

a third generation commercial fishermen. Since I was four months old I have lived aboard our family boat for a few months out of every year, sleeping in remote anchorages along the pacific coast from Lituya bay, Alaska to Santa Cruz, California. Despite this I have been told I am an overall pretty well rounded individual!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

my couch is available, but has not yet been officially surfed. it's kind of an older couch, so it's understandable that digital socialization being a fairly new concept is a little strange. But with all of the success it's had with face to cushion arrangements, I think it will do just fine. Like Grandpa and craigslist!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I will never pay for impersonal accommodations again! The experiences that I have had through couchsurfing and Servas (www.usservas.org) have been incredible.

Interests

creating optical illusions with clunky film camera's, bicycling, the sea, harvesting wild food, a couple fingers of rye, some live music and good friends. skill-shares, cooking over a good conversation, open mic night's, ethnobotany, face paint, and baby animal stickers.
